Emma Minns spoke at the Russia in Britain conference, held at the Institute of English Studies, University of London, on 25 and 26 June. Her paper, titled '"To catch up with and overtake": Soviet success in pictorial statistics 1931-1940', was delivered to the parallel session 'Cinema and Design'.
